Drawings
Drawings, paper, various formats,
2022–2025
Drawing forms the core of my practice. These works range from spontaneous notes to more developed compositions, often unfolding as clusters rather than isolated images. Figures appear distorted, hybrid, or mask-like; bodies expand, collapse, or merge with surrounding elements.
Through exaggeration, caricatural shifts, and theatrical staging, the drawings register tensions embedded in everyday and collective life. They move between humor and unease, condensing fragments of social atmosphere into compact visual situations. Rather than illustrating specific events, the drawings operate through displacement and distortion, allowing contradictions and absurdities to surface indirectly.
